It would be helpful to make the Events that are outstanding Bold or a different color. The ones that are checked are the same color as the outstanding events. Visually it would help for what is outstanding at a quick glance.

In our new UI, if an event is over due, it will be in bold red. Also once they have been completed, you see a checkmark next to the event.
