Add a section for Referral Fees and Buyer Agency Fees to Financials Section

Referral Fees and buyer fees often need to be manipulated in Escrow Accounting or outside E-Closing all together in order to balance.

    Hello

I know one of our Support Members has reached out to you. However, you can enter the fee directly on the Settlement Statement and it will pull through to Escrow and generated forms.

The issue with Referral Fees is that they are not re-occurring transactions and only on a case-by-case basis.

Let's say a buyer is moving to a new state. They can contact their current trusted real estate agent ("referring agent") in their current hometown and this agent will find them a real estate agent ("new agent") to work with in the new area they are moving to. The new agent will get the sale and work up the transaction but the referring agent will get a % of the commissions for the referral. It is paid from the new agent's commission. In almost all cases, they want the referral fee to be shown on the closing statement.

This is what we need a work up and solution for.

    Hello

I will have our Support team reach out to assist you.

Yes you can. If you have for example your Settlement Agency fee on line 1102 for your Company and then have a Broker default on 705, both will show up.

Info on how to set up HUD/CD Defaults by Real Estate Broker, please. I know how to set up by Lender, but didn't know Real Estate Broker was an option.

Also, can you have more than one HUD/CD Default per file? i.e. Company wide defaults combined with Lender defaults, etc.?

    Hello

    Thank you for your feedback.
You can use the HUD/CD Defaults page to have certain fees pull in based on the Real Estate Broker selected or Lender. Would that help?
