Please, we need to add logic in eClosings on the deed recording cost. We need for eClosings to compare the assessed value dervied from the Property Tax Section (which is the default value on the deed recording cost on the lookup ernst data screen) to the sales price found on the financial screen, and have logic built in to display the higher of those two values on the deed recording cost when the ernst data screen is displayed. We try very hard to remember to change that value when calculating or revisiting that screen but sometimes it gets missed and we end up eating recording costs - not good!
