The text description page should not have a limit as to how many characters the exceptions can contain. Some properties have many, many, many, exceptions and currently ECDT simply cuts off the excess exceptions when the Title Commitment is imported. No notification is provided to alert the agent of this. We just happened to notice some exceptions missing from a file and when we attempted to add them to the text description page, that's when we received an error message indicating there were too many characters. If that hadn't been caught, the policy would have been issued with multiple exceptions left out of the policy.
