We've just run into this as an issue. We weren't aware that 1099's would have to be pulled from each file individually, so we spent the better part of a day printing them off this week. If we could print them all at once, we would save a tremendous amount of time and work.
Due to the document pulling information from each file, we recommend generating the 1099 at closing. You can also use the Closing Portal to upload it there so the Seller can log in come tax time to access their forms.
