I've posted this before: please make the default to be unchecked. Its ridiculous to have to click "uncheck all" then go and check one or more documents I want from a particular package. Its extra unnecessary clicking which adds up if you are working on a number of files.
We have added a setting in user maintenance called "Doc Management Default" which can be set to "check all" or "uncheck all" so users can set this to their personal preference. This feature will be released to production on 11/18/2022.
We appreciate your continued support.
Alyssa, I still don't think you get it. If you want give me a call.

Hello,
Say you have a package with 10 documents and in most of your closings you need all 10. However, you have a one off, where you only need 8 of them. Wouldn't it be easier to uncheck 2 documents, than to check off 8?
If you have a package with 20 documents and routinly only generate 3 out of it, then it is more efficient to create a package with just those 3 documents.

Alyssa,
The idea is to reduce the number of unnessary clicks. I have a document in a package of documents that I may or may not use at the same time. It would make more sense and save time if I didn't have to first click the uncheck all box then check one or more of the doucments i want to print? sometimes I dont want to print all the documents in the package. In the alternative why not allow a master document screen of documents and select from it (boxes unchecked by default).
Right now its takes four clicks to get to a document to print or edit: generate documents > select a document package > uncheck all > select the document.
I am truly baffled why you guys think the current method is the most efficent (and unwilling to consider changing it) or why you can make it where the user has a default setting to allow all the documents to be unchcked by default.
Hello
You can create as many custom packages as you want. If you generate a certain set of docs for each file, create a package with those documents. Then you don't have to check anything, just generate. Creating custom packages is the best way to reduce the number of clicks.
