Additional documents for recording should be shown as separate line items

Recording fees for each document should be shown so all parties can review the fees on the CD.

    Hello

We have added a document called Recording Worksheet, which you can add to any package, which will show a breakdown of all of the Recording Fees. We hope this helps!

    Hello

Per CFPB guidelines, you itemize out the Deed and Mortgage Recording costs on line E01 and if there are additional documents to be recorded, they get added to the Borrower or Seller Paid At Closing columns. This is, again, why we are creating a document to list them out, because we do agree that it makes it difficult to present at closing.

This is very disappointing. It makes your calculation feature for additional documents moot, because additional documents MUST be listed separately.

No problem though, we will just keep doing it the way we always have.

Due to the overwhelming amount of fraudulent cashier's checks circulating in Florida, we will require ALL 'cash to close' to be in the form of a wire transfer. Our wire transfer instructions are available upon request.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Never trust wiring instructions sent via email. Cyber criminals are hacking email accounts and sending emails with fake wiring instructions. These emails are convincing and sophisticated. Always independently confirm wiring instructions in person or via a telephone call to a trusted and verified phone number. Never wire money without double-checking that the wiring instructions are correct.

    Hello

We do agree these should be itemized like other fees are. However, per CFPB guidelines, they are to be grouped together on line E01. We are working on loading a document that will break it down.
