Currently the 1099 summary only generates as a pdf. Each year there are hundreds if not thousands of TINs and SSNs that need to be filed with the IRS. By being able to generate into an Excel file, you can format the data and utilize the bulk TIN match on the IRS website. This tool will alert you if any TIN or SSN do not match or are incorrect so that you don't incorrectly file with the IRS and are penalized.
