Now, when you split a check it pulls in the info from the check it is being split from. If you change it, it changes it also on the original check. It would be extremely helpful to be able to type in the new payee and reference info separate from the check you are splitting from.

If you click Split Check, it does keep the original payee information because sometimes you want to pay that fee at a later date. However, you can change the payee name and address. When you update it will only update that one disbursement you split out.
