We build Consolidated Checks as we balance files which is usually prior to the disbursement date (especially in the case of refinances). Those checks immediately appear on the Print Consolidated Check screen. They should not be available to print/wire until the Disbursement Date of the file. Alternatively, the Print Consolidated Check screen should contain a field indicating the appertaining files' disbursement date so we can remove any future-dated transactions. The ability to print Consolidated Checks in advance of the disbursement date causes negative trial balances, especially if we balance the file at the end of the month for a file disbursing the beginning of the next month.

Hello
I deleted the attachment as this is a public space and didn't want that information available to anyone who can see the tickets.
Please work with Support in regards to this issue. If something needs to be done, then it will move up the proper chain.

Maybe it's specific to refinance files (i.e., files with disbursement dates later than the closing date). Take a look at the attached Check Register. Recording fee was included in the consolidated check created on July 29th. Maybe consolidated check availability is based on closing date rather than disbursement date??

Hello
I agree with you, and in my testing, I was not able to print an item marked as consolidated with a future disbursement date.
Our Support team will reach out to get more information so that we can look in to this.
