Create the ability to refresh a document with updated data. For example, if you have already generated and saved your documents and then make changes to the seller/borrower details and/or property details, etc. have the ability to refresh the document to re-populate with updated data.
This will cut down on the time it takes to modify/edit forms when changes occur.
When you click "Generate Docs", the system pulls the info from the appropriate place in the file and inserts it into a place holder inside of the document being generated. After that, the newly created document is its own entity and not connected to the system any longer. Therefore nothing you do in the system would change that document and there is no way to establish a connection like that. Unfortunately, you will have to update the info in the system, click Generate Documents (which tells the system to go get that information), and resave over your old document.
