Transfer information from the Seller Information screen to Schedule A-Title Vested In
To save time and money, I would like to see if we can transfer information from the Seller Information screen to Schedule A-Title Vested In- Commitment screen so we do not have to enter this information twice.
Thank you for your submission. The seller information does automatically populate to the commitment when generated. You only have to enter it in the text description if you want it to show something different than what the tag in the document generates. On the new text description screen you'll be able to see this clearly. We are hoping to have the redesigned page released in ME in Q2 this year. Stay tuned for more information.
It's dangerous to link these 2 boxes. Why? Well, because we all know how contracts look when we get them. Seller: "Johnny and Sara Miller". So that's what we enter in the seller box and order our title search..... BUT when the search comes back, we discover that it is "Jon H Miller and wife Sarah P Miller as joint tenants with rights of survivorship." To my knowledge, there is no way to include the "joint tenants with rights of survivorship" in the seller screen.
The system takes what you put in the Seller screen to use for the names when generating to documents. i.e. the name that prints below the signature line. The Schedule A-Title Vested In spot uses this information to populate your commitment to make sure it matches. At least that's the way mine is set up.
Thank you! This is awesome.. its the little things
