At our company the processor and closer are often not the same people. Due to the high volume of closings we hold, the processor, processes the files and we have contracted notaries that will often do the closings. The processor is however the point of contact through the title process and the clients should be made aware of that and have their name and contact information.
Some lenders are now requiring the closer be the title attorney, so we are utilizing that section for those lenders.
In a lot of case the processor, closer and attorney are not all the same people and it would be helpful to have this broken down in the client portal if possible.
Hello
We do already show the Closer's information in the Closing Portal and we can certainly look in to adding the Processor and Lender information as well (for the Borrower Portal). As for the Attorney to show, we may want to make that a setting, as perhaps you wouldn't want them contacting the Attorney directly?
